As a travelling wedding photographer, I go on new advenures every year, and this time the trip went to Dolomites. You can hardly find a more mesmerizing place than Italian Dolomites. Even before I got there, I knew it would be a love with the first sight, and the place didn’t dissappoint!
Laura & Ale are fellow wedding photographers team from Italy who I got to photograph in the most stunning locations in Italian Dolomites. What an amazing adventure it was!
Discovering first photo location
We started the day at 6 a.m. and drove for a good hour in order to get to the first location at sunrise. The first location is an iconic place which has been a part of the UNESCO world heritage site since 2009. Aaaand… Bummer! The toll road was closed until 08.00 a.m. This was in the end of October, so around this time of the year the roads get icey during the night. Therefore they performdo the ice cleaning on the road until 8 o’clock. (Disclaimer: we have tried all the “smart” tricks to get through the gate, with only result – to make the staff pissed off. So don’t do the same mistake when you are there, respect the rules!)
So, we missed the sunrise (which was the whole reason we wanted so badly to get to the top earlier). But when we finally arrived to the top, the view was magnificent! Hazy morning sun, rugged mountains, piece and silence. A perfect adventure for a wedding photographer in Dolomites!

Wedding photographers celebrating 10 years anniversary in Dolomites
During the day we drove a lot and explored several different locations, both in the mountains and in the forest. Some of the roads were actually closed, so we had to improvise a lot during that day. When we arrived to the final location we hiked for a while before we found a perfect spot for Laura & Ale’s symbolic vow renewal.
Laura and Ale have been married for 10 years and they said some sweet and funny words to each other. They laughed a lot and even fell a few tears! It was such a beautiful and romantic moment and a nice highlight of the day! We wrapped up the day at 18.00 and it quickly got darker after that. On our way to the chalet, we saw a beautiful foggy field with a pink sky in the background. And it was a perfect edning for this amazing adventure in Italian Dolomites!
