So, if the words sunset + fall + engagement session + Norway don’t speak for themeselves, I hope the pictures will do! The day I photographed Andréa and Lars Erik, everything just aligned perfectly!
Nearly impossible to plan for a sunset fall engagement session in Norway
Usually, september is my busiest time of the year. Therefore, I don’t take in many engagement sessions (since they can be done in any other season of the year). But if you’re an early bird and book your wedding long time in advance, and also ask me nicely… I’d be happy to schedule your engagement photo session for the best possible date and time!
However, it’s nearly impossible to expect a sunset on one specific date that was booked long time in advance. So, the odds are not in our favor… Yet, sometimes we are lucky and we get both beautiful fall colors as well as a sunset on a day of your engagement session here in Norway.
We started in the woods
On the pre-wedding meeting, Andréa mentioned that they liked wedding photos with a hint of whimsical style. And since they loved idea of wedding photos in the woods, we decided to go to a forest for the engagement session too. This is where we stared our adventure.
Later we saw that the sun started peaking through, so we went to some beautiful fields covered in golden light. My couple enjoyed some time together in the last rays of beautiful fall sun. After that we went to a third location – just to take a few more portraits in another setting.
I hope you’re inspired and convinced now that you also need a photo session together with your better half.
