I wish we could give more than 5 stars - we can't recommend Tanja enough! We were so lucky to find Tanja. Planning an elopement to a country we had never been in less than 5 months could have been overwhelming, but she was so helpful in working with us to plan the perfect day, that it ended up being completely stress-free.

Tanja helped us find some amazing locations for a ceremony and for photos in Sommarøy and Senja, including scouting them out in the days ahead of the wedding to ensure the lighting was good. Because of this and her incredible photography skills, we ended up with a set of photos that were more special than we ever imagined. Tanja also made us feel comfortable in front of the camera - something neither of us normally are.

Tanja quickly delivered a set of sneak peak photos within days of the wedding, and the full set was provided much quicker than expected. I also have to mention that she was incredibly helpful with logistics for the wedding day, including recommending an excellent hair and makeup stylist, confirming ferry times, and adjusting plans when last-minute road work impacted some of the proposed photo locations.

Most of all, Tanja is super friendly and was a great companion for our special day. We can't recommend her enough!

Tanja was an absolute dream to work with! She and my fiancé planned the entire surprise proposal, and photography session.

She went above and beyond for us, scouting out places for photos in Aurland and the surrounding area. As well as giving my fiancé ideas for our whole trip to Norway. I truly was blown away.

I can't thank Tanja enough for making my dream surprise proposal under the Northern Lights a reality. On coming back and showing people Tanja's photo of my proposal, I have consistently heard one of three things: a) is this real? It can't possibly be this great! b) this is the best proposal photo I've ever seen, or c) you have ruined things for your younger brothers because they'll never be able to live up to this.
I think those reactions should tell you all you need to know about Tanja's skills! But let me tell you a bit more about how she made it so great.

For years I had a vision of proposing to my now-fiance under the Northern Lights. I had been searching all over Scandinavia for photographers who would be able to help, but none really fit the bill until I finally found Tanja, and thank God I did! She worked with me for 5+ months on planning the trip, giving me tons of info on everything I needed. She sent me all the information I could want about how realistic a Northern Lights proposal might be. On top of that, she scouted locations for me, sending me views and intel on towns as far away as Sweden. I eventually decided to come to her home base in Alta, and my fiance and I both loved it! Tanja also helped out with recommendations on where to stay and what to do in Alta, which were top notch.

When it came to the trip itself, Tanja was amazing. She knew that I wanted to propose under the Aurora if possible, and let me book several nights on a flexible basis since it is such a variable phenomenon. She looked at forecasts and recommended that we go on the second night because the forecast for the rest of the trip was not looking that good. We also worked out a code word ahead of time for Tanja to let me know that the moment was right, because I had never seen the Aurora before and had no clue what would be a comparatively good display. When the moment came she said the code word, I executed my dream proposal, and she captured it all! My fiance and I now have a moment we will treasure for the rest of our lives (and an awesome photo of it) due to Tanja's expert guidance.
Overall I can't recommend Tanja enough - she made my dream come true and she will do the same for you!

Tanja (and Tom)! Thanks you so much for the wonderful experience of exploring Lofoten Islands. I cannot put enough stars on here to let people know about you and the magnificent journey from Oslo to Lofoten. Go ahead and put me in the books for July 18th 2042. We will be back with a cane and a walker for the same photos in the same place.

Coming from the states this was the best decision we made. Not only did we get a great photographer we also had some insider travel planning info.

Tanja is an amazing photographer and managed to capture every moment of our wedding day just perfectly! She has a great professional touch and is a lovely person in general. We're still amazed by how she managed to get such great photos of literally the whole day. Also our trip to the mountain to take our wedding portraits was just great in every way. Tanja adds warmth and authenticity to her pictures and she takes care of her couples. She got us to feel relaxed and laugh during our wedding day.

Tanja photographed us the whole three times: first, we had an engagement session one october day in a blizzard on Skjervøy. Then we had an adventure couple session in Lyngen Alps under the midnight sun. Finally, the wedding day was there and we celebrated it on a beautiful Sommarøy under the pouring rain. I only have one word to describe the experience, the moments and the pictures: MAGIC.
