When Britt-Eva asked me if I could take their family photos in a tiny village outside of Alta, my answer was quick. And it was YES, PLEASE! I loved the idea of family outing in the beautiful surroundings outside of town. And I wish more families would choose lifestyle family photo session instead of more traditional family portraits here in Norway.
What is the difference between lifestyle photo session and traditional family portraits?
Lifestyle family photo session is much more laid-back kind of shoot. There is nearly no posing, but just a bit of guiding from my side. It can also be an activity you like to do as a family. We can drive to your cabin, take a boat trip, go hiking or you can drive your snowmobile. Basically, you can do whatever reflects your personality!

Show who you are as a family or a person
Where do you use to spent your sparetime? Is it a picnic, walk to a forest nearby or fun winter activitiy with the snow? Do you love skiing or mountain hiking? Basically, you are just doing what you love to do in a place you love while I capture beautiful moments that happen meanwhile.

Beautiful place with a lot of history behind
The choice of photography spot for Britt-Eva and her family wasn’t random. Her family owned this place by the sea for years, and there are still few relatives who live here. Britt-Eva and Torstein are often here with their kids and caravan, and they have many good memories from this location.
Take a look at the photos I’ve got! I think they are really cozy and show closeness of this family. Do you want some lifestyle portraits? You can contact me to book your spot!
