Some couples travel far to experience something extraordinary and unique. Asya and Denis drove all the way from Saint-Petersburg to Alta to celebrate New Year’ Eve with their family. Later on they celebrated their wedding anniversary in the igloo hotel in Alta, Norway.

Amazing location for winter wedding

Perfect place for winter weddings and post-weddings in Norway

Sorrisniva in Alta is the world’s northernmost igloo hotel. Every year the ice artists create a new theme when they design and build the ice hotel. This year was challenging for the artists because December was much warmer than it used to be. Therefore the opening of the hotel was delayed until the end of december. But it suited us perfectly since we visited the igloo hotel on 1st of January.

Many tourists spent New Year’s Eve in the icey rooms of the ice hotel. But luckily for us, they all checked out before we came to photograph this romantic winter wedding anniversary in igloo hotel in Norway. So we had some time alone when the whole igloo hotel was in our disposal.

We wandered around in this beautiful winter wonderland and discovered amazing ice sculptures. Such a beautiful and romantic experience as well as nice memories from the stay in the arctic!
