If your engagement photo session is in Tromsø, consider yourself lucky. There are so many awesome photo locations basically everywhere, and you can explore several of them within a short timeframe. An this is what we did for Nga and Bjørn’s engagement shoot.
Easy hike in the mountains of Tromsø
Nga and Bjørn aren’t too much into hiking, but we agreed on a small hike to get a better perspective to the amazing mountains. After 30-40 minutes hiking in a calm path, we arrived to the top and faced a beautiful fjord view. Such a perfect place for an engagement photo session in Tromsø!
It’s been raining a lot in the previous days, so the trail was quite muddy. We were glad we all had our hiking shoes on, even though we could get away with a pair of sneakers on a dry day. On the mountaintop Nga and Bjørn changed to their outfits and we went on exploring the area. While we were hanging there, we didn’t see any tourists. And this is such a great feeling – having all this amazing scenery just for ourselves…
Engagement photo session by a waterfall in Tromsø
Although mountain scenery was great, it was also a breezy experience. After taking pictures on the mountaintop for half an hour, we hiked down and went exploring more places. When I do locations scouting for my couples, I always look for places with diverse scenery. That’s why I was very glad when I found this beautiful waterfall! On the day of the engagement session, we went there too and took some more portraits. To wrap up the day, we walked to the sea and enjoyed some beautiful views of the fjord Ersfjord. Such a lovely nordic experience with this sweet couple!
